Build the ZGMF-X42S Destiny Gundam in its spectacular Extreme Blast Mode with this Bandai Master Grade 1/100 model kit. Based on its appearance in Mobile Suit Gundam SEED Destiny, this special edition combines a detailed internal frame, extensive articulation and a complete collection of weapons and effect parts for dramatic aerial displays.
The defining feature of this edition is the large Wings of Light effect set. Made from specially processed PET material, the translucent wings reproduce the complex luminous appearance seen on screen and create an impressive silhouette when mounted behind Destiny Gundam.
Additional effect parts recreate Destiny Gundam’s Palma Fiocina palm cannon, thrown Beam Boomerangs and beam shield. Metallic-coated components are used around areas such as the elbow and knee joints, giving parts of the internal frame a heavier mechanical finish than the standard MG release.
Destiny Gundam comes equipped with its full signature arsenal: the large Arondight Beam Sword, High-Energy Long-Range Beam Cannon, High-Energy Beam Rifle, shield and two Beam Boomerangs. The sword and cannon can be folded and stored on the backpack when not in use.
A dedicated display stand supports airborne and attacking poses, while included pilot figures add further display possibilities. The pre-coloured components use Bandai’s snap-fit construction system, so no glue is required. Painting remains optional for builders who want additional detail.

This is an unassembled runner-based plastic model kit, not a ready-made action figure. The parts must be removed from their runners and assembled before display.
Glue and painting are not required, but hobby nippers are recommended for clean part removal. The large effect components and wing sections should be handled carefully.
