What is Digimon Adventure?

Digimon Adventure is the Japanese anime series, first shown in 1999, in which a group of children are pulled into the Digital World at summer camp and team up with partner Digimon, digital creatures that can digivolve into stronger forms. Its characters are still loved by fans who grew up with the show, and by new viewers discovering it today.

The Sembo Digimon Adventure figures

The Sembo Digimon Adventure series runs from 609309 to 609316. We stock three of the figures:

  • 609314 Biyomon (166 pieces): the pink bird Digimon with blue-tipped wings, a red beak and the ring on her leg. About 11.6 cm tall.
  • 609311 Palmon (133 pieces): the green plant Digimon with a pink flower on her head and purple claws. About 10.9 cm tall.
  • 609315 Salamon (150 pieces): the cream puppy Digimon with long ears and a golden collar. About 9.3 cm tall.

In the Digimon Adventure anime, Biyomon is Sora's partner and Palmon is Mimi's, so these figures are a nice way to bring a favourite partner Digimon to your desk.

Why Sembo Digimon figures are fun to build

These are short, friendly builds: with 133 to 166 pieces, you can finish a figure in one sitting, which makes them ideal for younger fans (they are rated 6+) or for a quick, relaxing build after school or work. The brick-built shapes capture each character's look, from Biyomon's wings to Salamon's long ears.

They also make easy, affordable gifts for anyone who grew up with Digimon, and they are fun to build together: pick a partner Digimon each and race to finish first.

A few tips: sort the pieces by colour before you start, follow the steps in order, and press each brick down firmly so the finished figure feels solid in your hand.

Sembo figures vs bigger character builds

Sembo's Digimon figures are small, standalone characters: a single figure of about 10 cm that you can finish in one go. If you want a bigger scene, licensed brands such as Keeppley offer larger Pokémon builds with display bases, from €14.95 up to €44.95 at Toy Haven. Many fans start with a small figure and work up to a big display piece once they are hooked.

Which Sembo figure should I choose?

  • The biggest figure: 609314 Biyomon, about 11.6 cm tall.
  • The quickest build: 609311 Palmon, with 133 pieces.
  • The cutest: 609315 Salamon, the little puppy Digimon.
  • All three: build a small team for your shelf.
