Build Char’s distinctive Zaku-inspired mascot
Add the Red Comet’s unmistakable style to your Gunpla-kun collection with the Bandai 1/1 CharZaku-kun DX Set.
CharZaku-kun transforms the appearance of Char Aznable’s customised Zaku II into a compact mascot model with its characteristic red colouring, single mono-eye and commander-style head antenna. The completed model stands approximately 7.5 cm tall, making it an easy addition to a desk, shelf or Gunpla display.
Two selectable display configurations
The model can be presented in one of two configurations:
- A fully assembled CharZaku-kun
- A Runner Version presentation using the included recreation part and display base
These are selectable display configurations. The set does not provide two complete CharZaku-kun models that can be displayed simultaneously.
Classic Zaku weapon selection
Three familiar Zaku weapons are included:
- Heat Hawk
- Zaku Machine Gun
- Zaku Bazooka
Use the accessories to complete the normal assembled presentation or arrange them alongside the Runner Version display.
Movable mono-eye
CharZaku-kun’s mono-eye can be moved from left to right, allowing the direction of its gaze to be changed after assembly.
The model is made primarily from PS plastic and uses snap-fit construction, so modelling cement is not required. Painting remains optional for builders who want to add further shading or detail.

This product is supplied as an unassembled plastic model kit, not a ready-made figure.
The 1/1 scale refers to the fictional CharZaku-kun mascot character. It does not represent a life-size Zaku Mobile Suit.
The normal assembled version and Runner Version are alternative configurations. Only one complete CharZaku-kun is supplied, and the Runner Version is created using a dedicated recreation component rather than providing a second model.
Hobby nippers are recommended for cleanly removing the components from their runners. Glue, lighting components, motors and batteries are not required.
Contains small parts and is not suitable for children under three years old.
