Enter a dark fantasy world of gears and machinery with the DK 7058 Mechanical Bat building set.
Constructed from 839 pieces, this striking model combines the natural form of a bat with mechanical armour, exposed joints, skeletal details and a gothic steampunk display environment. Its black wings contrast with metallic grey components, dark brown scenery and vivid translucent accents.
Two display configurations
The mechanical bat can be presented in two distinctive configurations. Display it upright with its wings fully spread in a dramatic flight pose, or fold the wings around its body and suspend it upside down from the included frame.
The adjustable wing construction allows the wings to expand and contract, while the bat’s body and supporting components can be repositioned when changing between the standing and hanging configurations. All movement is adjusted manually.
Detailed gothic display stand
The included display structure creates a complete fantasy scene around the mechanical bat. Twisted supports, exposed gears, creeping roots, spiderwebs, spiders and ground-level details give the model the appearance of an abandoned mechanical laboratory or overgrown industrial ruin.
The stand supports both display configurations and turns the finished build into a complete shelf or display-cabinet centrepiece rather than a standalone animal model.
The assembled display measures approximately 49 × 26 cm, depending on the chosen configuration and wing position.
The model is assembled from durable ABS building components and includes a detailed paper instruction manual. It contains no motor, lighting system or other electronic functions.
