Build a guardian inspired by ancient Egypt
Create an imposing black-and-gold guardian with the DK 7066 Egyptian Pharaoh Dog building set.
Made from 1,208 pieces, this detailed display model combines the form of a jackal-like dog with ancient Egyptian-inspired decoration. Its tall pointed ears, elongated head, ceremonial collar and black body create a striking silhouette reminiscent of the guardians found throughout Egyptian mythology and art.
Gold, turquoise, red and blue details provide a rich contrast against the predominantly black construction. Decorative symbols, including an ankh motif and hieroglyphic-style patterns, complete the ceremonial appearance.
Impressive elongated display model
Once assembled, the model measures approximately 44 cm long, 12 cm wide and 26 cm tall. Its elongated seated pose makes it an impressive centrepiece while requiring relatively little shelf depth.
The detailed collar features layered ornamental elements, hanging pendants and fang-like decorations. Long front legs, raised ears and a curved tail further define the model’s elegant guardian-like stance.
Adjustable display elements
The head can be turned to change the direction in which the guardian is looking. The two front legs can also be moved backwards and forwards, allowing the completed model’s pose to be adjusted after assembly.
The model contains no electronic or motorised functions. All adjustable elements are positioned manually.
