Who are POP MART?

POP MART is a toy company based in Beijing, China. It was founded in 2010 by Wang Ning, who opened the first POP MART store in a shopping mall in Beijing's Zhongguancun district. It started out as a shop selling all kinds of trendy goods, and over the following years it shifted its focus to designer toys.

A big turning point came in 2016, when POP MART signed Hong Kong designer Kenny Wong and his character Molly. POP MART went on to work with many more artists, including Kasing Lung, the creator of Labubu and The Monsters, and today the company is listed on the Hong Kong Stock Exchange.

What do POP MART make?

POP MART are best known for figures sold in blind boxes. Each series has a set number of designs; every sealed box holds one of them, and you only find out which when you open it. Alongside their own artist characters such as Molly, Labubu, Skullpanda and Dimoo, POP MART also make series with licensed brands from games, films and animation.

The POP MART series we stock

• League of Legends: Arcane: half-body figures of characters such as Jinx, Vi, Ekko, Caitlyn, Jayce and Viktor, each set against a layered background panel, about 12–14 cm tall.
• League of Legends: Midlane Icons: eight mid-lane champions, including Ahri, Zed, Syndra and LeBlanc, about 10–11 cm tall.
• One Piece: The Grand Line Vehicles: twelve famous ships from One Piece, from the Straw Hats' Thousand Sunny and Going Merry to Shanks' Red Force and Whitebeard's Moby Dick.

All of them come ready to display, with no assembly needed.

Why POP MART blind boxes are fun to open and share

The best thing about a POP MART box is the moment you open it. Will it be your favourite champion? Which ship will sail out of the box? It is a small surprise that never really gets old.

It gets even better with friends. Open a few boxes together, compare what you got, and swap duplicates until everyone has the characters they love. That is the spirit of blind boxes for us: a shared bit of fun around a game or a series you all enjoy, whether you're opening for your favourite character or hunting down the whole set, secrets included. Each series does include secret figures that are randomly inserted, but they are never guaranteed, not even in a full set box, so we would always say: buy for the characters you like. The figures are detailed display pieces recommended for ages 15+, which makes them a great fit for teens and adult fans.

How much do POP MART blind boxes cost?

Figures like these do not really compare to building sets, so we will not make that comparison. Instead, here is how our pricing works. A single Midlane Icons box is €19.95, and a single Arcane or Grand Line Vehicles box is €24.95.

For two of the series we also sell factory-sealed set boxes, priced so that roughly one box is free: Midlane Icons comes as a sealed set of eight boxes for €139.95 (you pay for seven), and The Grand Line Vehicles as a sealed display of twelve boxes for €274.95 (you pay for eleven). A whole set box contains no repeats, so it is the simplest way to get a complete series in one go, or to split a full set with friends.
